Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. As the only children of Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring female stars. Alexandra is engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. This includes the British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
