Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business at an early age. At the age of 16, she was sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several shows on television. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The other Oscar nominated film starring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Over the years Alexandra has worked in several important international and national productions. These include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon as well as other miniseries. She has also been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in The Cannes Film Festival.
