Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. Parents include Manny James and Patty James. His father is Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. Following his graduation from Sanderson High School, in 2010, James enrolled in Wake Forest University and obtained his Bachelor's in Economics. James gained fame when the reality show aired him as a star in The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in 2021. The next Bachelor was James who was one of the very only African American to play the main part. James was the best selection for the role because he's well-rounded tall, large and has great humor. Rachael Krkconnell was selected to be his partner for the entire season. James was paired with dancer Arnold who was popular at the time to participate in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th in the competition.
